Introduction

Kognito focuses on using video simulations with virtual humans to teach learners how to converse in an effective manner. We helped them revamp their marketing materials and gave their website a refresh.

Harnessing the power of artificial intelligence and video simulations, Kognito’s challenge for us was to design and develop marketing landing pages for their demos. While this project started off with individual pages, our end goal became to craft a website that was easy and intuitive to use — simplifying a complicated-sounding process for the user — that also had a cohesive look and feel across the entire experience.

Harnessing the power of artificial intelligence and video simulations, Kognito’s challenge for us was to design and develop marketing landing pages for their demos. While this project started off with individual pages, our end goal became to craft a website that was easy and intuitive to use — simplifying a complicated-sounding process for the user — that also had a cohesive look and feel across the entire experience.

Solution

Since Kognito already had an existing site, our first step was to evaluate what was working and what could be improved. At this same time, we also did plenty of research to understand the virtual simulation space and how users were interacting with the products that were already on the market.

After gaining an understanding of what we were designing for, we created wireframes for the landing pages to give us the structure of the site. We then ramped up to higher fidelity designs that both matched the existing Kognito aesthetic, as well as improving upon it where we could.

Since Kognito already had an existing site, our first step was to evaluate what was working and what could be improved. At this same time, we also did plenty of research to understand the virtual simulation space and how users were interacting with the products that were already on the market.

We did a thorough evaluation of the Kognito site to determine what areas were working and what were not.

Research

A deep dive into the virtual simulation space helped us understand how users were interacting with existing products.

After understanding the product and the vertical, we went to work in crafting the design of the landing pages for Kognito’s products.

Design

We took the high-fidelity mockups and developed them into working landing pages that housed product demos for users to interact with.
