Creating a user-friendly interface for carbine that serves both car dealers and car buyers was a challenging mobile app project. Thankfully our founder was up to the task with his over eight years of Online automotive experience.
The goal of the project was to ensure that car dealers were able to provide tools to their sales team that allowed them to easily showcase vehicles to potential buyers as well as track the status of sales in the pipeline.
- Wire framing
- User flow
- Hi fidelity mock ups
- Ongoing edits and improvements
The interface created needed to be very streamlined and modern in order to leverage the best practices and trends in the native iOS mobile application space. The interface also needed to be temple ties in order to change look and feel depending on the dealer brand.
CREATING USER FLOWS & LOW-FIDELITY WIREFRAME
The UX phase was a robust process in which the current application flow needed to be mapped out. Through discussions with stakeholders, the proposed improved flow was showcased along with ideas around how it could be laid out and functioned.
Stakeholders were pleased with the concepts and gave approval to move into mid fidelity wire frames that would be used for robust user testing.
The mid fidelity wire frame process had many iterations and feedback loops. The end process was a user experience and interface that checked all the marks of the overall application requirements.
In the final phase of the project the mock ups was able to leverage all of the learnings from user testing and the UX phases. The overall reception from the target audience was positive and successful.
