Introduction

Fountain Life sought out Create Ape for a website redesign to match their cutting-edge technologies. But we didn’t stop with a rejuvenated interface — we also delivered optimized location pages, email templates, and social ads to raise awareness for their healthcare revolution.

The Challenge

We were enlisted to improve the patient experience for the most important step — seeking care. However, Fountain Life’s outdated interface, slow load speeds, and overwhelming content were causing high abandonment rates across devices. To ensure a smoother end-to-end experience, we needed to scrap the existing sitemap and reconstruct the content hierarchy to flow logically for each page. This required deep strategic thinking since we had to consider where potential patients were in their care journeys and the factors convincing them to become Fountain Life members.

Solution

After conducting a thorough research process, we discovered that the website was lacking the aspirational content that resonated with their target users. They were too focused on their technology and not promoting the value props or services that give them a competitive edge. By redesigning the website page by page and addressing usability issues as we went, we defined seamless user journeys for each persona type. We also added pages to present relevant content to users and instill confidence as they begin their path to longevity.

We started with a new sitemap to plan user journeys between landing pages and new pages. Once our team and the stakeholders were in alignment, we could begin planning the content.

We played with color gradients, font sizes, photo backgrounds, and design elements to call attention to CTAs, tech features, and key messages.

Fountain Life was an important project for us because the company was founded by renowned thought leaders in healthcare and business. We had to make sure the website built the same level of trust as their personal brands. We dove deep into the wants and needs of their target users, then used that information to construct a seamless end-to-end patient experience — all while enhancing Fountain Life’s story and communicating their vision.

Cabi had several digital products for women to buy clothes and help their stylists move inventory. However, each individual product had significant user experience issues that kept both personas from accomplishing their goals.
