Flexfit launched a new branch of their business model called Flexfit Nu, designed to be the future of premium headwear. But what’s a perfect ball cap without some sleek promotional landing pages?

We wanted to help them define a new brand that tapped into the culture of luxury headwear. The main draws for Flexfit Nu were enhanced ActiveGuard™ and Cool & Dry technology — fairly new clothing innovations. To construct a visual identity that matched the product, we decided that movement-heavy landing pages were our best bet.

The Solution
To meet in the middle of style and technology, we spent most of our time researching advanced tech for everyday products. We drew inspiration from e-commerce innovators such as Apple, Cowboy Cruiser, and Opal C1. We studied the nuances in different animation styles such as smooth scrolling, image fades, and 360° product videos. Then, we strategized ways to apply lively interactions that didn’t distract users from the product.
Research
We started with gathering inspiration from leading tech companies. By studying their websites, we identified design motifs that matched Flexfit Nu’s positioning.

We leaned on neutral colors to avoid visual competition with products. Then, we combined them with bold and light blues as our accent colors.

Flexfit Nu needed a website that took their brand in a more modern direction. It’s not enough to just sell quality products, it’s about targeting a niche market and activating their curiosity with compelling visuals. We had to meet in the middle of style and technology with our design, utilizing trending UX elements to highlight key features and simplify shopping. With our tech-inspired e-commerce experience, we created an online store that will feel cutting-edge for years to come.
B/SPOKE wanted to refresh their website after the pandemic. They approached us to find the balance between approachable and no-nonsense for their digital presence.
PHP wanted to simplify their Incident Management System to make it easier for healthcare workers to document patient and employee concerns. They asked us to overhaul the user flows and remove key friction points while making small tweaks to improve the branding.
Fountain Life sought out Create Ape for a website redesign to match their cutting-edge technologies. But we didn’t stop with a rejuvenated interface — we also delivered optimized location pages, email templates, and social ads to raise awareness for their healthcare revolution.
The SchoolMessenger interface was running on a 20-year-old design and software program. Intrado, SchoolMessenger’s parent company, enlisted Create Ape to modernize its UX/UI.
Because of the pandemic, Abbott wanted to transition their manual software update process to a digital platform where technicians could update accounts remotely. We were tasked with creating the interface and rigorously testing it to ensure efficiency.
